Powered by its original 308 cubic inch inline flat-head six engine that produced 160 horsepower @ 3800 RPM and 260 lb-ft @1800 RPM this was the fastest production car in 1952! The Hudson Hornet took 1st place in Nascar for 1951,1952, and 1953, and coming in 2nd place in 1954. These were race cars in there day and for that reason many of them no longer exist. Because of their racing pedigree the movie character DOC HUDSON (voice-over by Paul Newman) was created for Pixar animation in the movie CARS.
This ’52 Hudson Hornet is in great shape with its original Boston Ivory color with its tan-brown with gold stripe upholstery. Lots of recent work over the years with receipts which include:
